ServeFest FAQ’s ServeFest Projects Questions: What is ServeFest?
- A day set aside when our Sunday services are spent showing the love of Jesus by meeting the practical needs in our community through various service projects.
Do I need to sign up?
Can we serve as a family?
- Yes, there are projects available for all ages. Families are encouraged to serve together.
Can I bring a friend?
- Yes, the purpose of ServeFest is twofold, to serve our community and to invite friends and neighbors to join us. This is a perfect opportunity to reach out to those who are not connected with a local church.
How do I know how to get to my project?
- Check servefest.org projects/locations, there is a map posted with the locations of each project. With any questions please contact darcy@servefest.org.
What should I bring?
- Bring the supplies listed on your service project registration, a water bottle and sack lunch.
What do I do if I’m signed up to serve but just found out I can’t come?
What if it rains?
- Rain won’t hold us back, just dress accordingly
What is the ServeFest Celebration?
- ServeFest isn’t over when the projects are completed. After a hard days work the people who serve and have been served will gather to celebrate community.
Does the ServeFest Celebration cost anything?
- There will be food available to purchase at the Celebration. Part of the proceeds will go to benefit the Sky Valley Food Bank.
What should I bring to the Celebration?
- Please bring some non-perishable food items for our local food bank.
